Steering sensor? Reply #1 – March 26, 2011, 02:09:48 PM It's part of the EVO (electronic variable orifice) steering system, steering wheel rotation and intensity is monitored by the module to increase or decrease power steering assist Quote Selected
Steering sensor? Reply #2 – March 26, 2011, 03:30:22 PM I didn't know I had that. Can I live without it. I'm not exactly building a grocery getter? Quote Selected
Steering sensor? Reply #3 – March 26, 2011, 04:33:46 PM Actually that's not what it's for. These cars do not have variable assist. It's for the electronic ride control in your 87/88 TC (no other Fox thundercat has it). The PRC computer monitors steering wheel angle and rotation speed and stiffens up the shocks if it thinks you're driving frisky. If you're keeping your PRC you need it, otherwise turf it. My bad, I'm used to the MN12 setup. In that case yeah, it's useless. Quote Selected
