horn stuff March 27, 2011, 08:43:10 PM ....Ok, so a couple weeks ago I slapped a tag on the 88 and took it out for a joyride. In the process of turning around my horn kind of.....disintegrated. Yeah, the part in the steering wheel. I took the pad off and everything in the hole was just falling apart and getting stuck in the wheel and causing the horn to go off. ....sooooo.... What I'm trying to figure out, is WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY HORN BUTTON TO DISINTEGRATE, and WHERE THE HECK ARE THE HORNS? I couldn't find the horns under the hood to unhook them. I have no idea where they are. Are they hidden under the fenders or something? Or am I just overlooking the obvious? And then of course I haven't taken my wheel of yet, but do I have to replace the entire wheel now or is that stuff just attached to the steering column? Quote Selected
