I was running a 29" tall tire and I swapped some 27" tires on. And got a nice pick-up,I shift it at 6200 and she crosses cross the line at 62-6300 rpm in 3rd gear(drive) Quote Selected

The trans. has a cheap shift kit in it (AOD with 110,000 on it). I switched to carb a year or so ago. Stall convertor, 4:10 gears basic stock short block with direct replace 5.0 eddy heads,roller rockers,comp extreme cam,air gap intake and a AED carb. I think my best 60' was a 1.68 I would hhave to look at the slips. Quote Selected
