left side of digi dash works but doesnt illuminate October 13, 2010, 10:40:06 PM 87 xr7 digital dash . the displays work on left side you just have to squint to see em they dont light up. is this a bulb problem or circuit board problem? was gona pull clucter and take it apart to see but figured id ask and save my self the time if its a cluster problem not a bulb problem.and its a good excuse for some autometer gauges Quote Selected

Also, chances are, if one bulb is blown it can make that whole circuit non operative... ask me how I know And... even if the bulb(s) don't look blown, dosen't mean they(it) aren't. If that's the case, you can pull all the bulbs in that circuit and continuity test them to make sure. Quote Selected

Just pull the cluster and check for burned bulbs. And like I said, one blown bulb in a circuit could make that whole circuit not light up. Quote Selected
