How things change. September 13, 2010, 01:38:15 AM Tonight I've been a bit busy.Getting the engine ready to come out of the sport, along with a lot of other stuff, in antition of something different. It'll be some time before the next car is here, but I think it's safe to say the Sport is no longer priority numero uno.Yeah, I've bitched and pissed and moaned about not having any money to spend on little stuff such as ball joints, tie rods ends etc, but the sad fact is, I just don't feel "it" with the car. So I'm taking all the V8 stuff and the seats, fuel lines, tank, etc, and putting the shell in storage for the time being. It's NOT going up for sale...I plan to gradually acspoogeulate what parts I need and restart it as a project sometime in the not too distant future, but I've got a couple of other ideas and plans I'm super stoked about for now.The one I will mention is a '93 Stang convertible. Was a 4 banger car, now has a carb 302 and I think a c4. Seems I finally have a use for that 351w out in my storage...The other car, well, it's a long range plans, just have to get through some wedding stuff, the holidays, and then winter...Meanwhile, I'll have a nice, clean rebuilt 5.0 to put in it when I get to pick it up and get it home. :DThat's the gist of it; Thunderhawk II is on hold for now.. How things change. Reply #5 – September 28, 2010, 03:23:56 PM Title of this thread sure is accurate.Swapping my electric seat track in soon, and try to get the wiring issues sorted out for it. I've gotta get the seat lower.Next for the interior is some headliner work, but I've got an idea for that, just need a free day to go shopping (60 mile round trip) for what I need.Currently, the front suspension is all off, save for steering rack, and all the parts are in various stages of cleaning, blasting, or painting. Hard to blast stuff when I only have 30 minutes a day to do them (at work, on my breaks). For now, it's my goal to clean, sand, and paint everything from the cowl forward. Everything. There's a bit of rust starting, and I want to nip it in the bud before it gets beyond my abilities.Pics after work of my progress thus far...if I feel like and can remember. Quote Selected
