Best previous 2 runs:
2.23  2.21  60'
9.31  9.19  1/8
76.2  76.9  1/8 mph
14.37 14.21 1/4
98.5  99.26 1/4 mph

Last 2 runs:
1.92  1.98    60'
8.88  8.86    1/8
75.9  78.75  1/8 mph
14.03 13.87  1/4
96.4  98.5    1/4 mph

Only mods were drag radials and timing.
1st pass was the 14.03 with a slow trap speed which didn't hit 13's   Was it  bad driving  ? :flame:
2nd pass was all out trying to foot stall and 1d1 shuffle off the rev limiter. 60' foot was worse.
3rd pass overheated in the staging lanes, cooled and drove home.

Thoughts?

Amazin' what traction will do HUH??

I'm assuming you launched at a lower RPM & let it shift automatically on the first run??? Any chance it spun a bit on launch on the second run??? Even with the slower short time the 1/8th was a little better on that second pass... Shifting low in the power band will give a slower ET & MPH...

Tip don't run your car in the staging lanes any more than enough to move it(take friends, have them push)... If you are in a long line, wait till five cars or so move up before you do... I wait till there is a 100ft or more clear, start it, drop in gear, blip the throttle, shut it off and let it coast up...

better 60'

Yeah traction does make all the difference! Even though power was down up top she still ran significantly faster et's

The 1st run was indeed a normal autoshift hit the accelerator launch. Tv pressure was likely set lower than the other visits. The 2nd run was manually shifted and foot braked. The tires may have spun or it may flash a little better by hitting the accelerator launching :dunno: Agreed a 4.10 gear would be better.

The staging lane tips certainly are good ideas to try next time but the overheating issue has gotten worse.

Thanks for help!

Power could have been down a little but you have to remember a quicker ET subtracts time you have to build speed, not uncommon to loose a MPH or so...

The best MPH I've had with my combo has been 95. Best et has been 14.6, all on street radials. I need some drag radials.......
