well let me tell you the whole story...im 15..and i have an 88 tc 5 spd no options...i saved the car so its my project...this yea i got it running so good i decided to enter in to car shows...iv been to 2 so far this year. it is the first car show that i have ever entered a car in so im excited lol...but any way i had my friend and my brother and law with me...we were there and it was cool and i happend to park next to an svo...looked kinda cool side by side but there was this guy with the svo guy and he was in to import as is my friend...yea i know sucks but there were talking about there 2j4z..cv56644 something...idk ricer talk and he was talking to him and he has a supra that is so badly rusted its beoned repair in my opinion but he told this guy and he has a Toyota celica s...he said he wanted to race and i thought he was talking about the svo and i was like..ima have my hands full im not going to win this one and my friend looked at me and said no him and points at the the Toyota celica and i start laughing...and the guy was just siting there so i accepted and knew i was going to win...he has a N\A 4 cylinder with 3" exhaust and a chip. i dident think about it but i showed him what rear wheel drive is like and did a couple power slides note: (im not driving) and we line up the tc wiped up on him bad like if you looked at the race people wouldn't of known we were racing...i should him what fast is like, yea that bad...we decided we had some fun and started to head home...there was a 5.0 mustang that sounded pretty hoped up we did a little pull and beat him..he dident want to play after i left him..so we continued for a lil and there was a supercharged Cobalt SS he sounded like he had WORK done and we were at say 40 MPH and we were in third gear and we both nailed it as soon as we floored it we instantly pulled 3 maby 4 car links on him and we hit the gas at the same time, he did every thing right he came back up and we left him even worse the next time...he dident want to play anymore and realized the cobalt is a pretty quick car and we left him like he was standing still. the mustang was a challenge but still beat him....how fast is my car...i have a stinger 3" exhaust with 2 cherry bombs with 2 1\2 duals..and SVO boost controller. (boost verys from 17\18 pis every gear) K&N cold air kit witch is in the lower pass. front fender. stock inter cooler..new clutch with 550 miles on it. why was i so fast...what kind of quarter mile time should i be running..all of my opponents were fast besides the dumb toyota..??? how fast is

Best I can decipher from that is .........

You and your friends are endangering peoples lives by street racing , beyond that I'm not sure what you are trying to find out

Seriously if you wanna prove something do it on a closed track. Several months ago there was this Eclipse and a Camaro Z28 street racing down a busy street in Charlotte with a 45mph speed limit and the Eclipse hit a Mercedes with a mother and young daughter in it and killed them both.

+1 to everything posted before mine.

Street racing is for idiots.

We've all done it sometime in our lives....not saying we're perfect, but when you see someone killed because of it, you tend to take a different slant on it.

I think there's a difference between people like myself who have taken an entire almost completely apart and put it back together again (sometimes, more than once) have little or no use for ignorant, uninformed people who think a 4 door car with a V-tec badge, neon lighting, and an obnoxious tailpipe is fast.
Yes, some Supras are fast, probably faster anything I'll ever have.
If I got challenged to a race by one as rusted as you claim to let on, I'd probably die laughing. Then again, I wouldn't put myself in a situation or place harboring such stupidity.

Race on the track against some real cars, and live to brag about it another day.

PS. A 5.0 Stang should be capable of staying with you, the new clutch and the stock i/c obviously won't give you any bonus power.

Moral: don't street race, or else don't post it here...I've been to enough funerals this weekend, and I'm tired of thinking about people who've passed.

If I seem harsh, and condescending, so what, my advice just may save your life, or someone else. Read the post before mine 3 or 4 times. You have a sister?
How about your mom, would you miss her if something like that happened to her?
It could. Of course, you could just get lucky and only smear your own guts on someones front yard/tree/mail box.

If you do keep street racing, or riding with people who do, you'll get no sympathy from me when someone does get hurt.
