Defective Paint

1328.4 miles into my Mustang odyssey and I find a paint defect.  Its on the right rear wheel well lip.  Looks like there was some problems with the spray gun and It showed up as, well it looks like a whole buncha zits in a perfect line along the wheel well.  Today was the first time I've actually buffed the car.  I've washed it and used spray wax previously.  Upon a light buff of the area in question some paint came off.  Off to the Ford dealer I went.  Sales manager was a stand up guy.  I'm off to their paint department tomorrow to see what they can do.  Hopefully it's fixed for Carlisle

I got it Feb 28th.  Drove it home that night in the snow ( about 3 miles).  That is the only time it has seen water other than a car wash.  Garaged EVERY night and when I drove it home that first night I dried it off in the garage.  It looks like the paint was bad from day 1,  Just not bad enough to notice until you get up on it.  At least until I threw some wax on it.  It took some paint off ( clear coat and some color, not down to the metal ), but what's left is solid so no rust at least.

--Edit--  This was fixed under warantee about 5 days after the original post.
