turbos en-route to turbos

Today I picked up the new turbo that's going on the new motor.  On the way to the shop I saw two, count 'em, two! 87-88 TCs in the wild.  I'm not superstitious but that has to be a good omen.  And no, I don't normally see any aero birds around here.

If I see one every 6 months I feel like I've seen a lot. There are NONE around here.NONE. My Sport seems to be the last of a dying breed around here.I have been looking....as always. You know how it is,driving along, and looking in every yard out of habit for a Bird or Cougar. We do it and don't even know it.Instinct.LOL.

There's a white '87-'88 TC that cruises down main street in Brookfield all the time....I usually see it when I'm on one of my breaks.
I'd like to flag the feller down and give him the URL to the forum here...and ask about his TC.

It has dual exhausts, a nice throaty tone, and a front end bra..sounds like it could be a V8, but not definite on that..

The bird I saw was toodling through the neighborhood and looked like a survivor (badly faded black paint).  The second was on the freeway and was a dark burgundy and in good shape.

Gumby, do you recognize what this is?  (Hint: it weighs about 37 lb)
