Hood scoops were 87, 88 specific unless modded to fit an 83-86 hood. I believe.

My 84 TC doesn't have scoops.

im pretty darn sure your right.
thats one that always made me wonder,, the provisions for the hood scoop on the engine must be different for the 83-85. again, not a guru on these, the tc's just look so (87-88) nice though but these more bulky looking bodies are growing on me and have for a few years now.

You are correct. No factory scoops on 83-86 TC's.

I emailed the seller for more info. Looks to be a nice clean car.

not a bad lookin car, 85k miles the engine should be good to go for a bit

probly has the ZG? ecu, small vam, green top fuel injectors, T3 turbo stock rated about 145hp
the dash and interior have alot of differances when compaired to the 85/86 or the 87/88 TC

this is one of the more rare TC for the simple fact its a 83, I could be wrong, been awhile since I looked at them, but I want to say there was less than 3500 1983 TC made

the 87/88 TC have the hood scoops to feed air to the top mount IC
