Spout Connector Differences. HELP!

Is there a difference between a spout connector for the 3.8l fuel injected cars, and the fuel injector 5.0, standard output engines? Mine was taken out today to check the timing one more time and lost. My father had a hole in his pocket and when the dog took off, it fell out somewhere. I can't find one from the parts store, but still have the one from the 1988 3.8 engine harness. Anyone know?

Please chime in.

doesn't it just break the connection when you pull the plug?

If it fits, it works.  All it is is a jumper.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
