Great day on dyno!!!

No longer have my 'bird, but the 07 GT replacement had a great showing on the dyno.

I went to the UTI in Exton car show/dyno day on Saturday. They were offering a trophy for the best combined dyno numbers(hp+tq=total) for the day. There were all kinds of cars there but the best numbers were being put up by a ls1 with nitrous, z06 corvette full bolt ons and a malibu with a 572 crate. That was the order when I got up late in the day. The 572 posted 526/4xx?. I really wished I had a boost controller when I saw his numbers. I didn't think I would be close, but I pulled a 516/502 for the win!!!! I am so happy that the car is putting down those numbers....now what to add for next year???

Great numbers!  What kind of dyno?  Would've loved to put my truck up on that one, since i'm pretty sure it would've put down roughly 700hp to the wheels on nitrous.

Yeah, Ford finally got some engines out again that take very well to simple mods. People have been wanting it for years and now that Ford's delivered, they are selling very well and people are putting down nearly un-streetable numbers all over the place. It's nice to see the Mustang return to what it did well 40 years ago - modifications like they're nothing. It's amazing how well mannered newer engines/eec's are on the street with all the available power.

The runs were on a Dynojet.

All the other people I talked with were very nice, especially the Corvette and Malibu owners.

Yea, these motors are nice. I am still running the stock intake, heads, cams and vct. I just wonder what these transmissions will handle.
