02 sensor codes
Ok, heres the story so far. Yesterday i installed a new MAF and a new disrtibutor in the 93 cat(3.
After installing these, i cranked her up and she idled pretty smooth, but after listening to it idle for a few minutes, i thought i heard a vacuum leak. So i checked all hoses and connections and i found nothing. It sounds like its either coming from inside the IAC, like the spring is weak or something, not sure if its supposed to a weak sprign or strong spring, or from the plenum gasket. But anyway, would that cause the codes 172(HEGO 2 sensor fault/lean) and 173 (HEGO 2 sensor fault/rich). The o2 sensor should not be bad, its less than 4 months old. Would the vacuum leak cause both this codes at once?
