I sold Cardone stuff for 15+ years ,and I find their QC on par with other re-man companies :D
 Plus they have a good warranty policy

Steering limiter clips:



Here is one installed:



I believe you can get them at the dealer but not sure about parts stores.  These will limit the amount the wheels turn so they can be used to keep the wheel from hitting the control arm but they will shorten your turn radius.

Awesome Darren, I appreciate the pictures. I will try and locate some of those! Edit: found at LateModelRestoration, will continue looking.
1983 Tbird with '03 Split Port V6 motor swap done! Headers, dual exhaust, 500CFM Edelbrock, 3G upgrade, Electric fan. 3.73 Gears and an FRPP Limited Slip. Five lug complete! 5-Speed conversion complete! Standalone Fuel Injection in progress...
