This was my latest endeavor ,
On my car there were electrical problems galore when I bought it .
I didn't have an EVTM at first so I replaced a few of the butchered  fuse links, But apparently not exactly as factory  :hick:
So I had the large (10ga?) black with orange wire going solo to the solenoid I undid that , and ran a new 4ga from the alt to a fuse to the solenoid.  I unplugged the the large connector on the 2G and unpinned the white with black wire and taped the hole mess hidden and out of the way .I made a new wire for the "S" terminal and inserted it in the factory connector . so now If I ever get stuck I can either use a 2G or 3g in a matter minutes :D
Everything seems to be working 100%
With all accessories on it was reading 14.6-14.8 at idle

Also I should have mentioned , it came from a 96 Taurus and it did not just bolt in after modifying the mounting bracket . I had to re-clock the back 180 degrees and I also had to enlarge the lower bolt hole a smidgen .
The top bolt hole I tapped and used a bolt instead of a nut and bolt .
Other than that is went very smoothly :D

now how would i do this for my tc? i know i would have to grind my bracket a bit. But would the wires be the same as the mustang 3g alt? Cuz i can get my hands on a 96 taurus alt.
