wtb 85 cougar trunk carpet

I need the trunk carpet, just the peice that goes on the floor, not the wall peices.

Lets just say a bottle of used oil spilled and wrecked mine... I can't seem to get it clean. I blotted it up, dumped cat litter on it, let it sit, sucked it up, and I still get black fingers when I touch it. Screw it. I want a new one, heh.

Send me a pic and a price.

Have you tried Dawn dishwashing liquid? It does wonders on wildlife...

btw I have been wondering for a while, what year is the cat in your avatar?

My avatar is my 83, when I had the TC hood on it briefly. The hood ornament is off a 76 cat. I always liked that hood ornament, it's heavy and solid glass.

One year while shoveling show, I slipped and smacked the original hood ornament off. I had that 76 hood ornament in my collection of cougar parts, and I found that it fit right on the 83's base, and the spring loop is about 5x thicker. So it can take some more abuse before it breaks off!

Any kind of grease cutting dish liquid works AWESOME to take grease out of anything. I used to buy the expensive hand-cleaners, then I just started buying .97 cent dish liquid. It works the same, if not better.

I'd try the Dawn suggested to remove the oil from the trunk's carpeting.

You can also try an orange cleaner. I used the stuff at home depot to clean the grease off my car panels.

If all else fails... get a sham-wow.. lol
