I was surprised, at my new house, I can see the fireworks clearly through my office window. Apparently, they set them off at a stadium about one mile from my house. I could actually see two shows, the other one looked like it was about 10 miles away.

I tried to get a pic, but my camera's shutter is so slow, only one pic came out:

When I lived in Tampa, bottle rockets were like 10.99 a gross, the first year I was down there I thought maybe they advertised them wrong...... I thought "Holy smokes thats expensive". Here in the great state on Tennessee they are .99c a gross.

Anything that "leaves the ground" and things like M-80's are illegal, here. So, there's a lot of folks that make the 10 mile drive to your side of the line.

I remember, when I was little, taking the trip from our neck of the woods to Upstate, NY, where the rest of the family is. Shoot, even there, SPARKLERS! are illegal

Yeah, its a lil longer where im at, but not the point. My piggy bank had "insufficient funds" so to speak for blowin bottles up. Now, you can have a whole buttload of fon if you got an old water-cooler bottle, couple gallons of water, and anything that goes "boom". As long as the beer is in good supply.:hick:
