History on the T-5's:

http://www.moderndriveline.com/Technical_Bits/t5_history.htm

It refers to Mustangs but it is nice to see what was installed and when if you are looking for one especially if you are doing a V-8 swap.  Tremec also has the service manual in .pdf on their site here:

http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English/media/pdfs_autogen/T-5_Service_Manual.pdf

ugh.. well, when the car accident happened Tuesday I missed an important meeting about a job I got. I finally was able to have a new meeting today. I wont be getting any extra pay now so I don't know where I am going to save for this. My goal currently is to just get the car back together and running even if it looks like a patchwork quilt of parts. *sigh*

This dream is going on the back-burner until a miracle happens or some idiot totals my car again. =\

Time and patience goes a long way.

Yes,money helps. If you look around really hard, and aren't in a hurry, there are deals out there. I'm noticing that parts are getting harder to find, and prices are going up. No aftermarket to speak of either.Hit the salvage yards and grab what you can, while you can.In some cases,it really is cheaper to buy a decent parts car than to buy a lot of parts.

If you do find one of these cars at the yard the parts all look like hell because the car was beat to death:hick:. At least that's how it is by me.

Yards are hit or miss around here
Right now my local yard has 4 fox cars 2 88 birds an 88 xr7 and an 85 LS the 3 88s all have near perfect interiors (all red)
All are 100% rust free.. actually one of the birds looks nicer than my car.:D

Not just parts, but cars too. Yesterday was the first time I have EVER seen a TC in person. (I was excited.) I parked right next to it as soon as I saw it:D

You just ain't been lookin', between the '87 & '88 TCs, Ford built almost 60,000 of the things... The Four eyes are somewhat less common, but none are rare...

I'm tellin ya. I know you guys have shiznit tons of em, but I have never seen one before that. Not in the JY's, not on the road. It actually was starting to surprise me, cause it seems that they're all thats ever for sale online, and they're all you guys talk about.
I can count on two hands the total amount of fox catbirds I've seen at all in the last two years. (9) Only 5 did I actually get to look at for a brief moment. That includes mine, and JY cars.
And I've ever seen only 2 Marks. None in a JY.
