What springs not to get

I did a little experimenting and this is what I have found. Do not use sn95 GT springs in your v-8 cougar. This is what it will look like if you do. The rear sits nicely, the front however is a different story, even with the hood on it looks like I have a skyjacker lift on it

hey can I get a pic of the rear? Thanks...

I used fms C springs on the front and it looks perfect. The c springs in the rear are too low. Right now I have tc springs in the rare and its too high...

I'll get some more pics when I go home in a few weeks. The body is still a little rough, but Im hoping to fix that soon, it sits lower now because of all the audio equipment in the back too  :grinno: . Are those springs what you have in this pictures on your website?? It doesnt look like the front end was really lowered at all.

Global West has spring spacers. I forget the url but if you google it I'm sure it will come up.

289Cougar: I saw some C springs on stangnet's classifieds yesterday for $80 if you need some. Just a heads up. ;)

I have fronts out of a 95 Mustang. Is that sn95?
I did cut them a bit, though. I think 1 1/8 coils, to match a spring from a lowering kit that had one side broken. Same thickness and wind, just too many coils.

And for those on dial-up, a MUCH smaller version of your pic.
