Snake in the basp00get

I was walking out of my basp00get door when I almost stepped on the snake that lives back there (yeah, it's my buddy). As I was doing the boogaloo trying not to step on it, it jumped the threshold and disappeared into the basp00get - I haven't seen it since. Any ideas on how to get this critter out of my basp00get (besides waiting until I smell it?)

lol - I was thinking that if it was bigger it could help me out by swallowing a mouse or two, but this one is pretty small. Hopefully it wont smell as bad as the one that got stuck in the electric heater in my garage - oh, man did that sucker smell. The heater still has a 'unique' aroma when it first turns on - lol. :hick:
