The hazard flashers and turn signals use two seperate flashers, not the same one. If the turn signal flasher is thermal instead of electronic, it will develop intermittant symtoms of working and not working.. then all of a sudden it just stops working all together. The one in the face of the fuse block is the turn signal flasher. The hazard flasher is on the back side of the fuse block. Both flashers are the same units. Take the hazard flasher out and install it where the turn signal flasher is and see if it works. If it does you know for sure it's the flasher unit and not the switch. 9 times out of ten it's the flasher unit that goes bad, especially when it will not flash on either side. The switch just directs the current to either side of the car when turn signals are activated. I recommend an electronic replacement as opposed to a thermal one. Quote Selected
