Washer Fluid in-line filter? April 06, 2010, 05:04:50 PM Hey all, I was cleaning up all the leaves/etc from my cowl area and realized there was a leak when I ran the washer fluid pump. The leak was right at the in-line filter that's near the wiper motor, at the firewall. I tried to take a better look at the leak, when I did the filter broke apart. One nipple at the end snapped inside the rubber hose. Any ideas where I can find another filter?It's an '88 Cougar. Quote Selected

Washer Fluid in-line filter? Reply #5 – April 09, 2010, 06:36:14 PM It's not a filter it's a one way check valve.It allows fluid flow only in the outward direction,it keeps fluid in the line not allowing it to freeze.You don't need it. Quote Selected
