I took the second step this weekend , I installed a set of  factory shorty headers  and an off road h-pipe  :D
 I had a little bit of an issue with the column linkage but nothing a little ingenuity and a Dremel couldn't handle .
 I just have to hook the A.I.R. tube and it is all done .
 I would like to gripe a little about people over tightening exhaust clamps and distorting the pipes GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
 The cat back on the car was almost new when I bought it but I had a
heck of a time getting the old stuff out and the flow tubes into the lers  .
 I also would have thought the sound level change would have been more substantial than it is .
 All in all  it wasn't bad for a guy with only one properly working arm ;)

How big are your pipes? If you've got 2.25" pipes it's not going to be very loud.

2.25 from the cat back, it actually seems quieter now but it could be in my head :hick:

haha its amazing what the difference from 2.25 to 2.5 is. My friend has a 95 stand with 3 inch straights. cant hear yourself think in it.
