Needing a little help with the swap

Needing a little help with the 87 TC to HO swap I have 3 connectors that are by the drivers side firewall
1 -8 pin gray connector
1- 8 pin black connector
1- 4 pin grey connector

I am using an 87 5.0 bird harness and the only connectors that I have on the harness in that area is the grey 8 pin. and a 4 pin black connector that doesnt seem to match up to anything

I have figured out(i think) that the small 4 pin connector is
red/white -temp
white/red -oil press
white/pink -low oil
there is also a larger gage white/red ???

Besides the amp meter and the temp gage in the dash is there really anything else that will needs to wire to the body harness

I think this might be why they say to use the 88 harness, but if you get the 87evtm you can repin your connectors and use the wires you need and leave the others out.  I had to do some of this on mine.
