question on rack n pinion May 04, 2010, 05:57:23 PM I just put a new rack and pinion on my 87 cougar.. was wondering how far down is the steering knuckle supposed to go back on the steering gear for the rack.... I can only get it to go down over the top half. Am I doing something wrong? I can get a pic if yall need a visual.. Thanks, Odie Quote Selected
