Its been awhile but I need some help.

Im in the process of putting a new motor in the tbird as we speak. I got a turbo gasket set, I need to know if there is a specific way that the turbo to manifold gasket is installed. Also I need to know if there is a need for a gasket between the manifold and the head. Thanks guys, you always come through for me!!

Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

also, we got and put in a timing belt on this motor. I think I figured out what I screwed up on the last one that cause my weird timing issues. How do you know if you have the balence shaft in time with the rest of the motor?? I know I turned over the bottom end with the belt loose, and accidently bumped the balance shaft a little. Not used to having three areas to time!! Please help, my dad is counting on this thing running this weekend.

IIRC the turbo gasket goes with the raised area toward the turbo. i doubt it really matters either way honestly

i run a gasket between the manifold and head, others do not. users choice usually pending warpage.

there is no balance shaft in a 2.3T. that is the AUX shaft. spins the distributor and oil pump. take off the dist. cap, point the rotor to number 1, and time the motor.

Thankfully you guys know what I'm talking about. I think I got everything set good, turbos on, just gotta make a oil line then drop her in tomorrow. Hope this motor still runs good after sitting 4 years!
