Shakey April 23, 2005, 07:24:38 AM My cat has been shakey since I got it. We got a new harmonic balancer and that fixed a little bit of it but not much. Its only shaking when im stopped in drive (im not sure about other gears), that shake actually moves from side to side? and when im in park it shakes a little (less then in drive) but im hearing a noise that kinda sounds like something changing and then changing back. idk what but thats the only way i could describe it. Judging by what you described, you only feel shakiness when the car is at idle in drive or park but not when it is in motion. I would think the shakiness could be the motor rocking due to a broken motor mount and the noise you hear is the sound of the motor bouncing on the broken mount. Quote Selected
