Nice pics. I like the black and grey one for some reason.

I really like that one too! Those dreadful poslycast styled roadwheels would be the first thing to go though, original or not! I wish mine was in that good of shape. If it were not for the fact that the Bird I have I aquired for free from my step-mom who was the original owner, I would have looked for a Bird in much better shape and save myself a lot of the pain of so much mechanical restoration and refinishing.

Very nice! What did you do with the wheels? Did you change out the wheels and tires for a conventional sized set or did you manage to retain the originals?

Yep....the first thing I did in 1992 was put 86 turbo Coupe wheels on it. I also blacked out the grille and headlight bezels. Those were some fun times as I was just learning about the Fox T-Birds. :D

Since I am on a flashback line of thought, here are pics of the Gray 460 Bird the first time at the track. (pics taken in 1996...bought the car in 1993)
This is the first race car I ever built, the 1st C-6 trans I ever rebuilt, and the first car I won a race with. :D

That car is the only car I have ever had painted in my life out of the 70 some I have owned.

Needless to say, it is very special to my wife and I.

Very nice! And the blackout trim on the headlamp bezels and grille looks good!
