My son is 4" taller than you with a similar weight, and he drives a fox mustang as a daily driver.

I'm only 6'0" tall and I find the fox Mustang juuuuuuuust a wee bit too small for my liking.

MN-12's have a good amount of room.

I know if you have the manual seat tracks in a fox, the seat sits lower than a power seat can go. That can give you a little more headroom :)

I'm a little shy of 6' 1" and around 235 lbs, and my '94 bird has plenty of room. The adjustable power seats help a lot with headroom and foot room. They are pretty comfortable cars altogether, unless your in the backseat:hick:

6'5" and 180lbs dripping wet. I have to leave my seat leaned back a good bit to feel like I have enough head room. Probably why your rods in your back don't like the car.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I own both.  My SC is like a ballroom compared to the 88 Coug.
My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

There is defiantly more room in my 95 than my 88. I like the interior on the 88 better though. Then again I'm 5'9" and 162 lbs.
