freeze plug questions December 09, 2009, 03:31:07 PM well i beleive i popped a freeze plug. ( see this thread for cause http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=26487 ) my question is how much room is there to possibly change freeze plug without pulling the motor... it is an 86 302. the coolant is pouring out from passenger side onto cross member. So i am thinking mid/rear passenger freeze plug. I am thinkin that if i can pull the manifolds and exaust off.. i can get to it with enough room. then just slap the headers i have layin around from mustang on there which shouldnt interfere with my column shift and have a couple pipes made for it. any help is appreciated Quote Selected

I had a shop do all and they did not disassemble to change them. They did undo the accesories to do the front ones. The side ones they said were easy but of course they have a lift and experience.
