anybody have one of these days? December 08, 2009, 09:39:37 PM hi guys, my dad and i went out today to pick up a parts truck today. heres how it went! 1- bought bondo filled dodge truck $500. 2-rented car dolly $150. 3- spend $70 on gas one way to tow. now this is when it got bad. 4- tried removing drive shaft (unsucessfully) dad left wrench on bold tried to drive.. hole in gas tank $150 old gas $5. 5- towed 3 miles down road..both rear tires fall off $150 tow.. very angry cop. 5- tow guy mangles tow dolly YIKES!!!. 6-haul to junkyard get $150 for truck you just payed $500 for. 7- long ride back with angry dad PRICELESS!!! god, you got to feel for the guy. lesson learned... buy car parts from forums!! thanks, dwight Quote Selected
