New carpeting November 30, 2009, 11:05:47 PM I just found a very clean 87 V6 LX T-bird w/a tan gut,the int is excelent but dirty,no rips or cracks ect,even the headliner is great!The carpet is stained around the driver's side,has anyone bought a carpet set that was very good quality? Quote Selected
New carpeting Reply #1 – December 01, 2009, 06:55:39 AM ACC, Auto Custom Carpets make a pretty good carpet. I have put them in several cars and they hold up quite nicely. If you really want to replicate that OEM feel, opt for the "Mass Backing." Usually, I just order a roll of jute with the carpet and use this to make up the needed bulk. I like the factory carpeting,very thick,keeps it quiet inside,If that won't work I'll look into ACC,they have some nice looking sets.Randy Quote Selected
