Old dragracing video of my bird. November 17, 2009, 01:14:35 PM I dug up this video from a few years ago. I was running stock e6, t-3 at 18psi and loads of wheel spin. This was my old engine before I popped it. Brings back good memories. I need to get her back to the track with all my new go fast goodies on it. Soon very soon.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVIy5-ZkEF4 Quote Selected

Old dragracing video of my bird. Reply #2 – November 18, 2009, 08:35:41 PM Ya, always fun. If I remember that might have been the night I broke the motor mount. Quote Selected
Old dragracing video of my bird. Reply #3 – November 18, 2009, 09:02:06 PM I'm not suprised, it's crazy how much power the turbo fours can put down. There's a guy on a local Mustang forum that keeps breaking rearends in his turbo capri. Quote Selected
Old dragracing video of my bird. Reply #4 – November 18, 2009, 09:40:04 PM Looks like your TC ran pretty good. What did it run? (I couldn't tell the times on the vid.) What was up with that 2-dr Tahoe? That couldn't have been stock as good as it was running. Quote Selected
Old dragracing video of my bird. Reply #5 – November 19, 2009, 01:09:58 PM The tahoe, is actualy a funny story. He's the son of one of my old customers, back when I was a parts guy. He has dumped a bunch of money in that thing, and claims its got a 327ci. in it with all the tpuppiess. He talked endless sh*t about my over weight under powered 4cyl ford for about a year. Till one day we ran in to each other at the track. It took all night to get him to run me. On the first pass I over boosted to 25psi! and had to let out after spinning through 1st 2nd and a nasty case of clutch smokage in 3rd. So we lined back up, with my boost turned down to 19 or 20psi. and you can see what happened in the last race. I spun hard in 1st but sayed in it till it hooked. and caught and passed him. Not bad for a mostly stock tbird!Oh and my best time that night was a less than impressive 10.0 at 71mph. I hope to get back to the track soon to run the new engine, but I'm having oil presure issues. I dont know if its the guage or the actual oil presure. Quote Selected
