Swapped the 88 sport for an 89 mustang hatchback.

Well the bird is gone but not forgotten. That wont be my last bird.

I swapped it for a 1989 Mustang hatchback. original 5.0 5 speed car. Only downfall is red interior. Has MAC headers with BBK H-pipe and MAC lers going into 2.5 inch stainless tips. Pro 5.0 shifter, 3:55 gears, B303 cam, king cobra clutch. Ported E7 heads. Runs pretty good. Guy had to get rid of it due to having knee surgery and needing an automatic. I left all the stereo stuff in there for him. He had some 17 inch cobra R's on the mustang but he wanted to keep them so we put them on the tbird. It is for sale on craigslist again with the rims and tires. he wants $2,000 for it. Its in the raleigh section.

Here are a few pics from my blackberry. Came with stock hood but I put my cobra R svo hood on it. didnt really like the look so i traded for a 5inch cowl.

If you guys will have me I will hang around and chat for a while! lol
Next bird will be a 4 eye TC hopefully.

A cowl hood that big is gay unless it is needed for clearance...  a 2.5" one would suit it better, or even that cobra/svo style one...  Hell even the stock hood would look better then that cowl...

x2. :toilet: Sorry, I jst don't like it.

I think you can stick around for a while I guess. You're not really causing any damage but I think you need to find a Cougar or Tbird again to make things right.

Hey! My cowl induction scoop is that big!.... :( Of course, it Needs to be that big, until I rework the manifold... But nobody can tell.

I don't suppose anyone has a 2.5-3" full hood do they?....*Silence*  Anyone?

I did the same thing in 1994. I traded in my '88 Sport for an '89 LX 5.0 with red interior.
2003 Marauder 300B
1996-97 Cobra wheel straight but weathered (For Sale)
84 TC manual shifter handle no  (For Sale)

BTW, I had a 1988 T-Bird Sport way back when. I found out that it was totalled shortly after trading it in. It still has the ignition switch recall to date.

Special thanx to EricCoolCats for showing me to this site.
