VAM to MAF conversion with an SVO PE computer

Has anyone here done the conversion. I believe the VAM is a major bottleneck for my setup and need to convert this to get better performance from my engine.

I have both the PE computer in the car with an SCT chip, and an LA3 computer on a shelf in the garage. Which will handle this conversion better. Most likely going with an 80mm MAF.

I really need a STEP BY STEP on how to do this, in very simple terms, from someone who is sure of themselves. PLEASE NO "I THINK THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT" GUYS.

You can check my signature for my mods.

Thanks

I do believe this is exactly what your looking for.  Look over the options on the left hand side.
Also, why aren't you on Turboford also? Turboford is more geared toward what you're doing. This site is pretty much dedicated to Tbirds and Cougars. Hence the name.

Well for the longest time I couldn't get on to TurboFord because I didn't have what they call a "valid" email address. ie not a hotmail, yahoo, gmail, aol, and the like. Yesterday i was able to "borrow" a "valid" email address from a family member who wasn't using it, and now I'm waiting for approval from the administrators.

I'm trying to reference ALL sights, because it ishiznit and miss on whether you get good and correct information from any one person. The more info the better.

Thanks for the link, I'll be sorting through it. The main info I'm looking for would be wiring and hookup to my computer. Bolting in the parts is the easy part to this conversion, it's making everything work together that seems to be the hard part. Especially since the PE and LA3 weren't made for MAF.

Glad to hear you can access Turboford now.  That'll really help. BTW, that's a really nice Capri. Ford should've built that car.
I've looked into the MAF conversion for my TC, and I'll get to it eventually, but it will probably be next spring.

Thanks... I posted other pics of it under user rides last week, I guess you saw better pics there.I've been all through TurboFord as a "spectator", but now hopefully I can be an active partint and get to ask questions instead of just look at what everybody else has asked and hope to pull the info from that.
