They have a bunch of it all the time. I used the lighter (1965ish) Ford blue on my engine because I like it better Quote Selected
Cad-T-Bird at the track, YouTube Reply #17 – October 02, 2009, 11:16:27 PM TED...Since you have 10.5/28" slicks, what back spacing do those wheels have? I was looking at 10.5 slicks but want to get the BS right. I am using a Mustang 8.8 vs the TC 8.8 so there is a BS difference, but that should get me in the ballpark. I think the difference is 1", anyone???? Quote Selected
Cad-T-Bird at the track, YouTube Reply #18 – October 03, 2009, 12:28:06 AM I have 10 inch wheels with 5.5 back spacing. I think that 6 would also work but the wheels I found were either 5.5 or 6.5 and 6.5 would be too much. I have Mustang axles so this would be the same as yours. I also have weight jackers so I pick up the rear some and I also rolled the lip a little. To roll the lip I found that a plam nailer works very well, just massage the edge.I also tried 8 inch wheels but they just did not work with the 10.5 tires. I'm thinking about trying a 29 inch tall tire next time.TED Quote Selected
