first day of ojt

Yeah it is my first day of ojt (on the job training) so far it isnt that bad, but it is very stressful. I am sure that things will get better as I get mor experiance on the phone. So far tech support sucks! :flame:

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I just finished my first week of OJT.  Now I got 1 week of pre service classes,  2 weeks of CTI in New Castle and one more week of OJT before I get put on shift.

So far I've finished...
Fire arms certification
CPR and First Aid
Self Defence
Security Skills
That was all in the first 2 weeks.
Then I did a week of OJT in the dorms.  Just 4 more weeks to go.  Then I'll be on shift with full pay.

OJT in what job? I had to do over 120hrs of OJT plus x-ray and ETD (explosive trace detection) machine certification after the 2 week, 10 hr/day 6 day/week training course. Whew, glad I got certified.

PS. - we must re-certify every year... ick, I dont get paid enough!!

I'm a Correctional Officer at Putnamville Correction Facility (Indiana State Farm)

Yeah,  I have to recertify every year too.  Not as bad as yours sounds though.

I know what you do Dare... Im trying to get into MCO Brooklyn with the BOP (Federal Bureau of Prisions)

Currently I am employed by the Dept of Homeland Security as a TSA Dual Certified Screener. I am a certified x-ray operator and qualified on an operator level for 3 different ETD (explosive trace detection) machines. Some days the job just plain sucks, others its great. I work in a slow airport that has more than its fair share of amazing women flying in and out, and you'd be suprised how many of them have adult pleasure devices. I even had the pleasure of screening a dominatrix's bag... whips and chains, ropes and handcuffs.
