Anyone a member of this site? A buddy of mine has been telling me to join for a long time. So I register, read a long list of intolerant rules (most legitimate), then send another PM to an admin requesting to be activated and now must wait for them to review my request and activate me with the next bunch of requests.

The site has a lot of intelligent car guys discussing and answering technical questions. Pretty impressive list of guys that are trying to keep idiots out, which I can understand.

Just thought the process was interesting and a bit frustrating while you wait to be approved. If you are logged in, you can't see any of the forum except the rules thread. If you log out, you can see some of the topics, but not pictures and classifieds.

kinda PITA, but i can understand what they are attempting to accomplish.

The more I read over there, the more I agree with what they are attempting to accomplish.
