Cougarcragar....as far as the smooth header panel,I'm still adjusting to it.I miss the "bird" in it,but,I do love it a lot more than the one with the huge gaping hole in it...........I mean cooling duct.

I liked the cooling duct! It was assymetrical in true SVO style... LOL!

Seriously thought I would miss the bird on the front!

Yep, they look as good as I thought they would. Looking forward to seeing your plan for the header panel.

I'm working on that idea on paper, and will get "hands on" the project when I get back home.I need to find a TC header panel emblem (the Bird).Mine is broken.I have forever to get it done, but I hope it doesn't take that long.LOL.

Hey Vinn. Did you happen to see the Jan. 02, issue of Hot Rod magazine? (I actually have the artical, that's how I know the date). But there's an 87 black with goast flames T-Bird, the guy somehow grafted the floating bird emblem onto the header panel. I don't know if you can look it up in the archieves or if that's even what you're thinking of doing. It's worth giving it a look anyhow, it's a sweet Bird.

It'd like to see pics, lol.

Vin,
Have you noticed your car running warmer with the Turbocoupe nose on it? Apparently that's why the 5.0 cars have a grill. I'd like to change mine over but it gets in the upper 90's here and don't want to create an overheat condition (especially with A/C).
BTW... Your clean emblem-less nose is much better looking than one with the emblem.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but vinnie...wow...I hate that I've been away from the forum for a while because your car looks absolutely stunning.  I saw the updated pic of your car on the forum banner and had to come see for myself haha.  Love the wheel choice (I've always been a sucker for gunmetal wheels with chrome lip...obviously) and all the little details you've done to it really came together great.  If you ever feel the need to donate the car, feel free to send it my way!!!  :D

Thanks a lot for taking the time to check it out.I have to post pics, but I installed the compass mirror,"bug eye" dome light, and explorer sun visors.Just a few more pieces of the big puzzle.I still have a whole list of things I need to do,but slowly but surely it's coming together.I took a long time looking at wheels,chrome.Black.Gun metal.Silver....etc....These just really seemed to be THE wheels my car needed.I wanted something I didn't see every day,and looked "different",yet "right".I think they work well with the color of the car as well.Again,Thanks a lot for checking it out after all this time.

By the way Kingcars, have you left us for the Stang forum.I don't mind you cheating on us a little as long as we're your "primary",but if we're not the main forum,we have issues.LOL.

Yeah it's definitely coming together.  I also went through the same thought process when choosing wheels.

Well after the 306 went goodbye and I didn't have the Tbird for 3 months I was pretty bummed out and didn't feel like being around haha.
