power passenger seat Reply #1 – August 23, 2009, 06:37:33 PM The seat harness unplugs, on the drivers side, by the door. If you have the dual seat harness, all you have to do is swap harnesses. Quote Selected

All the Fox Tbirds and Cougar had manual passenger seats. The cars are scarce now in all years. Even within a few days time they got rid of so many of the cars I had been snagging parts from. I did find a 1985 Fox Continental and was not sure if it used the same power seat track or not but I was gonna snag it and try it. Then I realized how the hell am I going to get it out! The seat needs to be moved forward to get the rear bolts out and of course a car in a salvage yard has no battery. Quote Selected
power passenger seat Reply #5 – August 24, 2009, 02:55:54 AM If you have a short wrench, small strong hands, and good luck on the bolt not being god-awful tight, you can usually get a seat out in almost any position. I was able to take the pass. power seat out of my Sport, but it involved a witch doctor, a short wrench, quite a few "f" words and one badly cut finger, but the sob came out.Yes, would've been a lot easier to put the battery in, but IIRC at that point, me power seats didn't work whatsoever. I forgot to take out the seat before I stripped the wiring out of the car. there were quite a few "f"in words flying, but it did come out in about 45 min. Quote Selected
