HO swap ? regarding MAP and TPS sensors August 13, 2009, 12:13:23 PM I got my E-7 swap done and timed and it runs excellent. However, I'm having trouble with the car wanting to idle at all. Once rpms drop below 800 the car shuts off. I am still using the 88 Thunderbird map sensor and TPS (which I noticed there is a physical difference between the HO and Thunderbird TPS shape). All vacuum lines are hooked up and are brand new. I replaced them all. I want to drive it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D but can't until i get this puzzle solved. Quote Selected

HO swap ? regarding MAP and TPS sensors Reply #3 – August 13, 2009, 09:06:19 PM I think the issue is with the IAB and TPS. I forgot to mention I messed with the idle stop screw on the throttle body. I now know I should have never touched it. So I need to reset the TPS.I replaced and re-clamped all the hoses. I've checked all the easy stuff. Quote Selected
