Those are pretty nice MPG numbers! Also, I don't know what happened with your tank, I personally have put 21+ but never 22 gallons in my bird at different pumps over the years, I find I have to bury the gauge into E though:)

Maybe it depends on what day it was built? Perhaps on mondays the workers filled the bottom of the tanks with epoxy or something. :D

That's certainly a possibility. My car is '88's almost 80,000th build...perhaps somewhere in there there is a grumpy Saturday worker!
