As a big fan of the late 60's Birds, I have to ask....WAT?

If the price came down enough, I'd consider buying it, and doing a suspension swap, lol.

Maybe that's the guy's way of showing respect... paying homage.  Think of that?  Not everyone has the same taste in customization, etc.

Maybe everyone else on earth thinks an H.O. conversions and TurboCoupe hoods are a waste of time on cars that, for the vast majority of people, are just cars.  I can't tell you how many of 'our' cars I see driven around beaten half to death, rotted out, not taken care of. Just buy it, drive it, junk it.  It's an old car.  Would it be better to come across a 'classic' in that kind of shape?

Sorry but I'm going to be a smartass for a second so bare with me.  Dude, did you even see the pictures of that car?  I'd rather see it junked out and rusted from many years of good use than ruined by turning it into abomination like that.

What exactly would you be paying respect or homage to by doing that?  The lords of gayness? lol.:punchballs:
