relocating fuse panel

Has anybody done it or does anybody have a link to someone that's documented it?

I repinned mine, and added a second one out under the hood, but I dunno of anyone who has moved theirs. Why are you wanting to move yours?

It was the winter of '06-'07, I believe. The factory one was repinned when I rewired the IGN circuit so that relays carry the high current draw of the heater fan and other IGN circuits instead of the switch. The one under the hood is for lighting. I've actually got to reconfigure the one under the hood because our provincial government made DRL mandatory on vehicles that never had DRL (anything older than 1990). You've actually got to either have DRL or use your headlights, and I know I'd forget either to turn headlights on or off, so I have to make it automatic.

shiznit, I've gone and derailed this thread. I now return you to your regularly scheduled topic :hick:

Why are you wanting to move yours?

Because checking/replacing fuses is a monumental PITA.  And now, after converting to manual brakes, I'm thoroughly traumatized by the thought of having to contort myself into that.  I was thinking about unbolting the panel, (maybe getting a second section of harness with plug), extending the harness as necessary to relocate the panel somewhere civilized.

Do you have a link to what you did with yours?
