do the 86 tc have same size rear as the 87 tc thanks for any info

The '86 has a 7.5 with 3.45 gears.The '87/'88 cars had the 8.8 with 3.55's or 3.73 ears (3.55's in the 5 speed cars,3.73's in the auto equipped0.Also,the '86's had drum brakes,'87  and '88 had a disc rear.

thanks for info just wanted to make sure i had the 87 tc jacked up today to remove the pads so i could push it around a little easer when i spun the hub felt rough like there was tooth missing another thing the sticker on the door sill has a k under ax code thank again

You're welcome.They are a bolt on swap as far as the basic install,but brake lines and such would have to be addressed.
