I need to find a carrier for a 7.5" rearend. Does anyone have any info as to what years and models will also fit. I'm swapping the 3.08's for a set of 3.73's, and was told the carrier is wore.
I have a 1984 Fila Thunderbird

You have a Fila? Crazy,I just found 3 N.O.S. Fila badges in my bed side table.(have NO idea where I got them),LOL.Anyway, any Bird Or Cougar 7.5 should work. The Turbo Coupes up to '86 used Locker 7.5 rears (most with 3.45's if I remember right).

I might be wrong but I don't think Falcon's came with a 7.5" (unless maybe it was swapped in)...I was thinking that with a V8 they had a 8"?

The older mid-size Fords were 8" if V8 and 6.75" if equipped with a straight six...the only exception might be for a 6-banger with some sort of "towing" package.
