RPM issue..

Warning- I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever.

^ Ok, that's clear..

Anyhow....

This may be completely normal, but it doesn't seem like it...

Between shifts, from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 5th, the RPMs hang for 3-4 seconds after pushing the clutch in and my foot is completely off of the gas pedal.  This is also with 0 boost, too, or so the gauge says.

TPS issue?

Fuel pressure issue?

Dunno if this matters or not, but I got an '87 TC.

RPM issue..

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
