I like the mods, please tell me its still oldsmobile powered. Why the ford 9 inch rear? The olds one must be more durable.

Big Block Chevy...  All the power of the Olds with 1/3 the expense.

The 9-inch is stronger than the factory 12 bolt, and a bunch safer too.

Now I'd like to know more about this McLaren car... I've never seen one that color.

It's a 1989 asc/McLaren, #082 of 247. The color is called "Hot Yellow." This car was supposed to be Royal Gold, but apparently they had a customer who absolutely HAD to have a yellow car, this despite the fact that asc did not offer a yellow in '89. Thus, asc specially painted one 1989 car in Hot Yellow. It is also fairly unique in that it is a 5-speed car. Only around 20% of asc/McLaren cars were 5-speeds.

The asc/McLaren conversion was quite pricey too, costing $16,142.00 on top of the $9,050.00 price of a fairly loaded Mustang notch-back!

So you have an uncommon car that's...basically, even MORE uncommon. :roxor:

Wish I still had the '86 asc/McLaren Capri that I briefly owned in 2005.
Title issues bugged me about it, so it passed from my hands after a few months. :punchballs:
I did keep the front seats out of it though...Motorsport buckets.

Anywho, this about your car not mine lol.

What's the Mustang like under-hood? stock? modded?
