Time to come clean..... lol

We went to Baltimore and picked up this little beauty a few weeks ago....

It's an '85 (Yay, I have a Fox again!) with a 3.8 V6.  Interior is brown and tan, and the car is light metallic sage green.

We are planning to do an engine rebuild on it, but it runs good for now.  We just have to keep a close eye on the oil because it has a leak, and the tranny fluid also has a slight leak.
One other issue is, the fuel pump kicks on and off if it's damp out, causing the battery to drain. So, we have to unhook it to prevent that. I believe it might be a wiring issue.

We are hoping to restore it to it's original beauty eventually. For now, it's being used for Dakota and Hunter to drive... they both have their permits and will get their licenses probably next spring, if not sooner.
We are considering giving it to Dakota when he graduates next year, but that's not set in stone as of yet.
Both boys love it....and they have to be sure to take good care of it with the little issues it has going on. But I think it's a good starter car for them both.... since they will have to be on top of checking fluids and such regularly. They'll also be helping to rebuild it when the time comes.

Oh, and before anyone asks...yes, this does look familiar.... it previously belonged to Cougars2go (Karl), and is still listed as his in the random banners.  He was kind enough to pass it on to us.

BTW, I was hoping to keep it secret till Cat Jam...but I can't wait another year to reveal it. :rollin:

LOL RJ.... you're outta luck man!

No, I didn't get the other rims for it...I believe Karl might have some other plans for them. However, he was kind enough to give us the rest of the paint he used for them so we can make these ones match.

I suppose I need to make up a new siggy, huh?

Oh, nice. Love the color, but then I am biased on that since my bird is the same color.
