You'll have to change the computer,wiring harness,get the hard to find V-8 motor mounts,exhaust,etc.With this being your first car,I'd fix the V-6 and use it as a learning tool,and one day down the road,do the V-8 swap.You can do a little to the V-6 to wake it up.Dual exhaust,headers (yes,there are headers for the 232),etc.?Good luck either way.We're all here to learn and help.
